Welcome to the website of Academic Social Innovation, a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation in New Mexico.
The mission of Academic Social Innovation is to help individuals obtain their educational and employment goals(1) by offering GED and college preparation, (2) by creating an operational model to demonstrate constructivists ideals in teaching and learning for STEM fields, (3) by developing new research and assessment models, and (4) by advocating for restructuring of the United States educational system.
The vision of Academic Social Innovation is to provide not only cognitive skills as a foundation for individuals but also include noncognitive skills as equally important aspects of learning and assessment criterion for education. The vision is to work closely with industry partners in the STEM fields to help students to obtain internships and become problem-solvers. This would provide students with a full range of life skills to compete for employment opportunities on the world stage.
